Nahargarh Fort, located on the edge of the Aravalli Hills, was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1734 as a retreat palace. The fort offers a panoramic view of Jaipur city, making it one of the best places for a sunset view. Originally built as a defense fort, it later became a royal retreat, and additional structures were added, including Madhavendra Bhawan, a summer palace with suites for the king and his queens.
