A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Jantar Mantar is an astronomical observatory built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1734. It consists of 19 massive geometric devices designed to measure time, predict eclipses, and track celestial objects. The world’s largest stone sundial, “Samrat Yantra,” is located here, making Jantar Mantar an important scientific monument.
