Architectural Marvel
Designed by Iranian architect Fariborz Sahba, the Lotus Temple is a masterpiece of modern architecture. Completed in 1986, the temple is composed of 27 free-standing marble-clad “petals” arranged in clusters to form a lotus, the national flower of India.
